Useful in any sunny spot in the garden where you
want an accent plant which has a cascading growth-habit, unique
olive-green leaves year-round AND bright-red berries in fall and
winter.
We've planted Weeping Yaupon hollies in large bronze containers in
front of our Perennial Deck and have underplanted them with colorful
ivies, perennials and bedding plants for year-round interest.
Plants mature at 10-15' tall by 6-8' wide. In containers, roots are
restricted and plants will not reach their mature size. Expect 1-2'
growth a year.
Plant in sun to light shade. Weeping Yaupons are very
drought-tolerant after their first year in the garden. |
