Grown for its attractive, dense
foliage which grows tall, but narrow - Perfect for tall screening in
areas where you can't use much width.
Plant alone as a specimen in the border or at the corner of your home
for vertical accent.
Space 6-8' apart when planting as a hedge or screen.
Eastern Red Cedars grow quickly to 25' or taller by 6-8' wide. Plants
may be left untrimmed for tall natural screening in the garden or may
be pruned once or twice a year to maintain as a formal hedge.
Expect 2-3' of growth a year.
Plant in sun to light shade. Plants are very drought-tolerant after
their first year in the garden.
