Italian Cypress

(Cupressus Sempervirens)

Grown for its EXTREMELY NARROW, upright growth habit and evergreen foliage.

Plant right in the garden border or in large pots and other containers anywhere you want vertical accent.  Italian Cypress planted in large pots on either side of a pathway at the entrance to the garden always creates vertical interest.

Frankie's Fun Park (Woodruff Rd x Miller Rd) has several 15' Italian Cypress planted in their parking lot medians.

Italian Cypress will mature at 15' or taller by only 2-3' wide.
Expect plants to grow 1' or more a year.

Plant in sun to very light shade.  Plants are drought-tolerant after their first year in the garden.
